ALISO VIEJO

Monday August 15 at 9:00am is the Baby and Me Hike at Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park. This hike is for expectant mothers or anyone carrying a baby in a pack, sling, and backpack. (Dads welcome too!) This is brisk, 2-mile hike with some fairly steep terrain (400’ft. elevation gain). It is important that both children and adults have water/hat/sunscreen and a snack. (Trails not accessible for strollers.).

DANA POINT

Coming up September 9 – 11, 2011 is the annual Tall Ships Festival (Dana Point Harbor / Ocean Institute).The festival features a spectacular array of family-fun activities including live music, art shows and a variety of tasty food. Interactive living-history encampments including blacksmiths, scrimshaw artists, and the infamous Port Royal Privateers are sure to entertain and amaze guests of all ages and are not to be missed. This Saturday August 13 starting at 9:00am is the 3rd Annual West Coast Hot Dog Eating Championship at The Derby!  How many hot dogs could you eat for $10,000? This Sunday, August 14 from 9:00am-7:00pm is the Annual San Clemente Street Faire and Fiesta located on Ave Del Mar! The event includes continuous entertainment on three stages.
