We switched to Daylight Saving Time yesterday and we lost an hour of sleep. But no fear! Today is National Napping Day!
Founded by a Boston University professor William Anthony in 1999, so that people could adjust to the Daylight Saving Time.
Napping has many health benefits. It offers a chance to catch up on some much needed sleep and to promote health and productivity and aid in the learning process. Naps can improve ones mood and performance, especially in the workplace.
Napping is good for you!!! The right to doze off in the workplace is something I’ve supported for a long time. Well, I might be exaggerating a little….but it’s something that I wish we could do like in many other countries. Siesta time.
So after a late lunch and this blog….it’s time for me to catch up on some zzzzzzz’s…..
