Starting Tuesday March 1-6 at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, Segerstrom Hall in is the Rock of Ages Musical. Rock of Ages is a rock/jukebox musical built around classic rock hits from the 80s, especially from the famous glam metal bands of the decade. Coming up Saturday March 5th from 7:00am-3:00pm will be a Charity Surf Contest, also known as SALSA (Surfers against Lou Gehrig’s disease Surf Alliance). Surf for the Cure! SALSA is a surf competition that helps raise funds for the ALS Association. The proceeds will be used to research cures for Lou Gehrig’s disease and for patients who have this disease. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal neuromuscular disease that can strike anyone without warning. TOMORROW February 26 is Race on the Base!
