If you haven’t had a chance to check out the Sawdust Festival there is still time! The last day is August 29, 2010. From 10:00am-10:00pm everyday over 200 Laguna Beach artists, display their artwork for visitors to shop along sawdust-covered paths through a hand-crafted village of fine arts and superb craftsmanship. The Festival also features demo booths such as glass blowing, complimentary hands-on art workshops, and a children¹s art booth, refreshments from three restaurants and a saloon, live music and more. LAGUNA NIGUEL

August 21st starting at 10:00pm at Laguna Niguel Skate Park ( 27745 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677) skate until the sun comes up! Arrive at the State park at 10:00 pm and don’t leave until the next morning at 9:00am! Compete in games for prizes! Watch skate videos! Food, drinks, and breakfast will be provided as well. Helmet, elbow and kneepads are required. Bring a sleeping bag and a whole lot of energy! Participants must fill out a liability waiver and medical release. The cost is $40. LAKE FOREST

Tomorrow August 14-15th is the Skate-fest 2010 Summer Campout! There will be a Video game VIP lounge, battle in the joust pit, or be King of the Skate Park 2010. Everyone receives dinner, breakfast, drinks, snacks, and candy throughout the night. You may want to bring a sleeping bag and pillow for the camping area, but most of us stay up all night. This event is for all ages and will be supervised by Park Staff. The Skate Park gates will be locked at 10:00 pm and campers will not be permitted to leave until 9:00 am the following morning. Video and photos of the event will be posted on EtniesSkatepark.com. The event is $45 per person and takes place at Etnies Skate Park of Lake Forest (20028 Lake Forest Dr). To register, sign up at the Skate Park the night of the event ONLY! For more information you can call 949-916-5870. SAN CLEMENTE

TONIGHT starting at 6:30pm back by popular demand is Island Nights! Catch a little Aloha spirit this summer as the City of San Clemente launches its annual Island Nights at the Pool! Aside from the live Island music from around the world, there will be plenty of swimming, arts & crafts for kids, and dinner plates for a nominal fee; $3 for kids, $4 for adults.You don’t have to leave San Clemente to experience the Islands! Pre-registration is encouraged or you can pay at the door (cash only). All children ages 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent. Swim passes not valid for this event. Food provided by Iva Lee’s and music by Steel Parade.

August 28th-29th from 2:00-8:00pm at Oaks Blenheim Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park in SJC come for The Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo! The event is good old entertainment for the entire family, not to mention the richest 2-day rodeo in the nation with a purse totaling over $200,000. The top 30 rodeo contestants in saddle bronc and bareback riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, bull riding and team roping will come to San Juan Capistrano for this chance of a lifetime. Celebrating the golden age of early California history and the American West, Rancho Mission Viejo has committed to the preservation of the cowboy way of life. Carrying on the cowboy tradition of “passing the hat” in support of a sick child or needy friend, all proceeds from the rodeo will benefit local charities. The cost is $20.
