This Saturday from 9am-4pm is the 4th annual Surf-a-rama at Doheny State Beach. The event includes vintage surfboards, Woody car show and about 50 different vendors. Admission is FREE. For more information call 714-262-8370.

Registration is now open for the 4th annual Freedom Run at the Ranch, which includes a 5K run, 10K run and 1K “Little Firecrackers Dash”. The race is July 4th starting at 7:45am. Saturday, June 19 is the Quick Draw Competition at the San Clemente Art Gallery & Ave. Del Mar. Artists have just three hours to register a blank canvas, paint it on-location and turn it in, framed. The event is followed by a wine & cheese reception, with awards and sales. Event is free to public.

DON’T MISS OUT! From May 7th-July 2nd, 2010 our own local OC artist Karen Joy Jackson will have her work featured at The San Juan Capistrano Library. Displayed will be 8 matted and framed photographs of Paris and Provence in France. There is also an Architectural Walking Tour each Saturday morning.
