The Fall Harvest Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24 @ 10:00 a.m to noon at the

Grand Park. Wear your costume to walk in the parade @ 10:30 a.m. There will be pony rides, games, arts and crafts, balloon twisters and more.  Bring three canned food items and be entered in a drawing. For information call: 949-243-7750.


Halloween Haunt at the Dana Point Harbor on Saturday, Oct. 24 @ 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Costumed visitors can stop at educational booths to learn about scary things, they can answer questions and receive tokens for free snacks, face painting, carnival style games

Halloween by Moonlight at the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, Willow Canyon Staging area, 20101 Laguna Canyon Road, for ages 8 and up @ 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday,

The Trunk and Treat at the Lake Hills Community Church, 23331 Moulton Parkway is on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. This is a Halloween alternative fair with

decorated cars, bounce houses, live band, food, chili cook-off, contests and more. Family

Haunted Trails at the Crown Valley Community Park, 29751 Crown Valley Parkway starts today, Thursday, Oct. 22 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 23 and Saturday,

Oct. 24 from 6:00 to 10:30 p.m. This event is scary and not recommended for children

Epilepsy Golf Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24 @ 10:00 a.m. at the Tijeras Creek Golf Club, 29082 Tijeras Creek. The tournament is to raise money and awareness for a cure for epilepsy. Bring your kids down to Zoomars Petting Zoo and Bird Park for the annual Pumpkinpalooza on Monday, Oct. 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 31791 Los Rios St. in San Juan Capistrano. Pick and paint your own pumpkin, arts and crafts, petting zoo and family fun. Admission to the pumpkin patch is free, but there is a standard charge for petting zoo.
