Orange County Hotel Vacancies Rise

Orange County hotels are not doing as well as last year according to PFK Consulting. June saw a rise in vacancies and a fall in room rates, yet 1 of 4 rooms have been left empty.

In the month of June, OC vacancies hit 25%. South County had the highest rate, 34.6%. Around the county, the average room price was $136.32 a night.

I have a proposition to all you Active Rainers, family, and friends…come visit Orange County! The rooms are affordable, the beaches are beautiful, the weather is perfect year round and we have a variety of activities to keep you busy! I’m warning you, you may never want to leave!
