The Brea Community Center’s Passport to Fun progam returned Tuesday the 24^th and continues through Aug 21^st.  Program runs Tuesdays & Thursdays from 1:30 – 4:30 pm.  695 E. Madison Way.  The cost is a one-time $5 registration fee and $8 per day.

 

BUENA PARK

Congratulations – for 26 consecutive years the city’s Administrative Services Department has received the “Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting” from the Government finance Officers Association.

 

GARDEN GROVE

Beginning this Saturday the 28^th from noon to 5:00 pm, the city’s H. Louis Lake Senior Center will serve as a public cooling center on Saturdays & Sundays when temperatures reach 95 degrees and above.  The center is located at 11300 Stanford Ave.
