LOS ALAMITOS

July the 4^th!… For the 21^st year in a row, the cities of Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, the community of Rossmoor & the California National Guards Training Base & the Morale Welfare Recreation system will host its Fireworks Spectacular at the base in Los Alamitos.  Gates open at 4:00 pm with the fireworks display at 9:00 pm.  Event is free.

The City Council this week selected five companies as finalists for a design competition to determine a concept plan for a new City Hall that will be built next to the Central Library.
